This Privacy Policy explains how Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe (“Sweet Hut,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you interact with our website and promotions (including the Sweet Hut FIFA 2026 prediction sweepstakes), and information collected when staff use our operations application, Sweet Crew.

Information we collect

When you enter a promotion we collect the information you submit: your name, mobile phone number, email address (optional), your team prediction, and a photo of your receipt used to validate your entry. We also collect basic technical data (such as your device/browser) needed to operate the site.

How we use it

We use your information to administer the promotion (validate entries, run the drawing, and contact winners) and to send you text-message updates about your entry and the promotion if you have provided your mobile number.

Analytics & cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (for example, which pages are viewed and which links are clicked) so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects standard usage data; it does not receive your name, phone number, or receipt photo. You can opt out with Google’s opt-out browser add-on or your browser’s cookie controls.

Text messaging (SMS) program

By providing your mobile number on our entry form, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Sweet Hut about your entry and the promotion. Consent is not a condition of entry or purchase.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information is shared only with service providers (such as our messaging carrier) strictly to deliver the messages you have requested, and is never used or shared for unrelated marketing.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help. After you reply STOP we will stop sending messages to that number.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the promotion and messaging program, and as required by law. As stated above, mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties for marketing.

Data retention

We retain entry information for as long as needed to administer the promotion and comply with our legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it.

Sweet Crew application

Sweet Crew is an operations application for bakery and cafe teams. Access requires a staff account. This section describes the information the app collects and how we use it.

Information the app collects:

Account information— your name, email address, and work role or store assignment, used to create and manage your staff login.
Content you create in the app— messages and photos you send in team chat, and the records you log, such as temperature checks, waste entries, and catering order details.
A staff account identifier used to attribute your activity to your account.

How we use it.We use this information only to operate the app for your store — team communication, food-safety logging, and catering and waste tracking. The app contains no advertising and no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking technologies, and we do not use your information to track you across other apps or websites.

Storage and sharing. App data is stored with our infrastructure provider, which processes it on our behalf as a data processor. We do not sell it or share it with third parties for marketing. Access is limited to authorized staff and managers within your organization.

Retention and your choices. We retain app data while you are an active staff member and as needed for our records and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. Staff accounts are provisioned and managed by your organization. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your app data or account, contact us using the details below.
